For 2026 we are planning to add some exciting additions to our product line:

• In addition to this year's products, we will introduce native wildflower plants potted in gallon-sized containers for those who prefer immediate results.

• We will also offer 25-square-foot wildflower garden kits for the 2026 growing season.

Our new hours of operation for the 2026 growing season will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Our forests, wildflowers, prairies, shrubs, and grassland are critical in capturing our carbon emissions.

The optimal time to sow most wildflower seeds in a garden or meadow setting is after a few frosts but before the first snowfall. Planting wildflower seeds in the fall mimics the natural life cycle.

Some native wildflower plants are hosts to lepidopterans (comprised of butterflies and moths), from eggs to larvae that eat the leaves, stems, flowers, and roots, which play a critical role in their life cycle.

Native plants are critical hosts for protein-rich native insects like moth and butterfly caterpillars, which nesting birds prefer to feed their growing youngsters.

Wildflowers help humans, and pollinators don’t just support ecosystems; they also help provide our food.

A pollinator is any living thing that helps carry pollen from the stamen (male part of the flower) to the pistil (female part). This transfer of pollen must occur for the plant to become fertilized and produce seeds.

Almost half of the root mass in a native prairie is carbon.

Native wildflowers are preferred by beneficial insects (pollinators) rather than non-native plants.
